Business Analyst

Location: Remote / Occasional On-Site As Needed

Pay Rate: $ 60 To $ 65 Per Week

Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM PST

Experience: Business analysis, requirements gathering, process documentation, UAT, or modernization project experience preferred

About the Role

We are seeking a Business Analyst for a contract opportunity supporting modernization initiatives. This role will help gather and clarify business needs, document processes and requirements, support solution assessment, assist with testing, and work with program staff, senior analysts, technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to create clear and actionable project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Gather business requirements through interviews, workshops, document reviews, and research

• Translate stakeholder input into process diagrams, user stories, business rules, and functional descriptions

• Draft and maintain current-state and future-state process maps, SOPs, requirements summaries, and system documentation

• Prepare UAT test cases, support test execution, document results, and communicate findings

• Support training materials, train-the-trainer sessions, user feedback collection, and implementation activities

Requirements

• Business analysis, requirements gathering, documentation, or process mapping experience preferred

• Experience supporting modernization programs, enterprise initiatives, or system implementation projects preferred

• Knowledge of UAT, requirements traceability, user stories, business rules, and functional documentation preferred

• Familiarity with data governance, privacy, security practices, relational data platforms, or cloud-based data platforms preferred

• Strong communication, facilitation, stakeholder collaboration, and technical-to-business translation skills required
