We are searching for a Senior Glass and Glazing Estimator that can estimate a project from architectural drawings to a comprehensive bid package. This role will require someone who can solve customer problems, identify design deficiencies, and collaborate with business development to identify the best products and pricing. This position is in-person located in our Salt Lake City, Utah office.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Project Documentation - Gather all necessary project documents, drawings, specifications, and schedules to gain a comprehensive understanding of the project.
  • Bid Preparation - Organize bid information, solicit vendor quotes, prepare takeoffs, RFPs, and estimates.
  • Tailored Proposals - Provide written proposals tailored to each project's unique needs.
  • Detailed Analysis - review contracts, awarded bids and work orders for scope and congruence with estimates.
  • Cross-functional collaboration - Attend pre-bid meetings, traveling to sites as needed. Collaborate with the assigned Project Manager and engineering personnel to review the estimate, the process, contract documents, etc. to facilitate turnover transitions.
  • Relationship Management - Foster relationships with key-vendors and subcontractors. Constantly update knowledge of current and prospective vendors, manufacturers, and products.

Qualifications:
  • Eight plus years of experience large commercial faรงade estimating
  • Experience estimating projects ranging from eight million to thirty million in contract value
  • Knowledge of stick curtain wall, unitized curtain wall, punched openings, aluminum operable windows, and window wall with a preference for panel experience.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and processes.
  • Proficient in and Microsoft Office suite
  • Construction Management degree is a plus

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
