Job Summary:
Lumen Solutions Group Inc. is a technology consulting Services company based in Florida. As a Senior GIS Analyst, you will be responsible for developing, converting, and validating spatial data related to real estate agreements along rail right-of-way, working on georeferencing, digitizing, and translating complex documentation into high-quality GIS datasets.
Responsibilities:
• Georeference and digitize real estate agreements into enterprise GIS systems.
• Interpret legal descriptions, maps, and engineering/as-built drawings to create accurate GIS features.
• Perform quality control, spatial validation, and attribute verification.
• Investigate and resolve spatial discrepancies in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Create and maintain metadata, documentation, and data linkages.
• Manage multiple GIS projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, Planning, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on GIS experience.
• Strong expertise in: Esri ArcGIS Enterprise (10.x)
• Strong expertise in: ArcGIS Pro (3.x)
• Experience with geospatial data development, mapping, and data validation.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred:
• Experience working with railroad or right-of-way (ROW) data.
• Background in interpreting legal land descriptions and infrastructure documentation.
