Job description

Contract GIS Data Analyst
$30-35/hour | Immediate hire

We are seeking an immediate contract GIS / ESRI Data Analyst to support enterprise geospatial initiatives, data integration, and operational analytics. This role will focus heavily on ESRI platforms, GIS data management, and data-driven reporting to improve business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and support ESRI ArcGIS platforms including ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, and related GIS tools
  • Design, build, and maintain geospatial maps, dashboards, field applications, and spatial databases
  • Integrate GIS, operational, and third-party data sources for reporting and analysis
  • Develop and manage geodatabases, feature layers, and data governance standards
  • Create Power BI dashboards and reporting tools to support operational decision-making
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, improve workflows, and support strategic initiatives
  • Collaborate with operations teams to translate field data into actionable system solutions
  • Maintain data quality, documentation, and reporting accuracy across GIS and analytics platforms
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience with ESRI ArcGIS, GIS analysis, or geospatial data systems
  • Strong proficiency in ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, spatial data management, and GIS workflows
  • Experience with data modeling, SQL, Power BI, DAX, or enterprise reporting tools
  • Ability to manage large datasets and deliver analytical insights
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills
Preferred:
  • Experience with agricultural, land management, or field operations data
  • Familiarity with ETL processes, enterprise integrations, and geospatial governance
  • ESRI certifications or advanced GIS technical expertise
Ideal Candidate:
  • Hands-on GIS expert with strong data analytics capabilities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced contract environment
  • Proven ability to deliver scalable geospatial and reporting solutions quickly
