Job description

About Us:

Buying or selling a home is the biggest decision most people will ever make. Thousands of Canadians trust Property.ca, Condos.ca, and MrLoft.ca to help them make it. Our platform connects buyers, sellers, renters, and landlords with the right agents, at the right moment, with the right experience. Combined with myAbode's transaction processing platform handling 30,000+ deals a year across thousands of agents, we sit at the centre of Canadian real estate.

We're building for the person who just found their dream home at midnight and doesn't know what happens next. Our marketplace engine connects that moment of pure intent to the right agent, instantly and intelligently. We need a Senior Full Stack Engineer whose decisions will directly shape how Canadians move through the biggest decision of their lives.

Role Overview:

We're not just adding AI features, we're building with an AI-first mindset, where LLMs and agentic systems are part of how products are designed, not bolted on after the fact. We're looking for aSr. Fullstack Engineer who is excited to build this way.

What You'll do:

  • Build and scale products using Laravel (PHP), React, and AWS
  • Design and ship LLM-powered features and agentic workflows in production
  • Work across the stack (including Node.js where needed) to deliver end-to-end features
  • Collaborate closely with product/design and ship quickly with high quality

What We're Looking For

Core Engineering

  • 4+ years building production web apps and APIs
  • Strong experience with Laravel (PHP) and React
  • Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs
  • Solid understanding of MySQL, AWS, and modern dev workflows (Git, Docker)
  • Working knowledge of Node.js

LLM & Agentic Experience (Required)

  • Built real LLM-powered features or products (not just used ChatGPT)
  • Experience with agentic workflows (tool use, multi-step reasoning, orchestration)
  • Strong intuition for prompting, context management, and handling unreliable outputs
  • Familiarity with RAG, embeddings, or tool-calling systems
  • Thinks in terms of automating workflows with agents-not just building CRUD apps

Why Join Us?

  • Be a key player in shaping the future of our product and design culture.
  • Collaborate with a talented team in a dynamic and innovative environment.
  • Opportunity for professional growth and development as we scale
  • Competitive compensation commensurate with role and skill set.
  • Health, Dental & Vision Benefits, plus a Health Spending Account & Lifestyle Spending Account.
  • A fast-paced, growth-oriented environment with the associated (challenges and) rewards.
  • A casual, funky and pet friendly office with fun social events.

Why myAbode

Real estate is ready for disruption and ready to be reimagined. The data exists. The intent exists. The technology exists. And we are the team doing it.

We're not just building software. We're changing the most emotional, complex, and consequential transaction in most people's lives, and we're doing it with some of the most talented, passionate, and genuinely excellent people we've ever worked with. A team of people who move fast, think big, and care deeply about getting it right. Flexible enough to change direction when the market demands it. Focused enough to go deep when it matters.

This is the opportunity. The industry is ready. The platform is ready. Are you?
