ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client, a Fortune 500 Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company, is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to serve as the technical anchor and lead for automation tools within the product development team. This hybrid role, based in Summit, NJ, offers high-impact engagement and direct partnership with business and technology leadership. You will own end-to-end full stack development, including standing up and managing cloud infrastructure (compute and database), designing and connecting APIs, and building frontend interfaces with React. The role requires hands-on expertise in GenAI prompt engineering to ensure consistent, low-hallucination AI-assisted workflows. You will guide architecture and approach, integrating backend and frontend systems, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Own end-to-end delivery across backend, middle tier, and frontend for automation tool initiatives
  • Stand up and manage cloud-based infrastructure (compute and database) to support application development (Azure preferred, AWS acceptable)
  • Design, build, and connect APIs to enable application functionality
  • Develop and integrate frontend interfaces (React preferred) with backend services
  • Utilize Python for data manipulation and processing tasks
  • Apply GenAI prompt engineering practices to ensure consistent, reliable model outputs and minimize hallucinations
  • Act as the technical anchor for the build, guiding architecture and technical approach for the product development team
  • Partner directly with business and technology leadership to deliver impactful solutions
WHAT YOU BRING
  • 5+ years of full stack engineering experience with strong breadth across backend, middle tier, and frontend
  • Demonstrated experience building and connecting APIs
  • Experience standing up cloud-based infrastructure (compute and database) for application development - Azure preferred, AWS acceptable
  • Frontend development experience, React preferred
  • Python experience for data manipulation and processing
  • Hands-on GenAI prompt engineering experience, including techniques for producing consistent model outputs and mitigating hallucinations
  • Proven ability to work end-to-end, from infrastructure through interface
