RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Remote Senior Flutter/Dart Mobile Engineer.
Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart
* Build intuitive, accessible, and high-quality mobile user experience for iOS and Android
* Integrate mobile applications with backend APIs, authentication services, push notifications, and real-time data synchronization
* Manage the mobile release lifecycle, including testing, deployment, app store submissions, and production monitoring
* Implement secure local storage, offline capabilities, and reliable application performance across varying network conditions
* Monitor application health through analytics, crash reporting, and performance tracking tools
* Collaborate with product, design, QA, and engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle
* Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and promote mobile development best practices
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
* 8+ years of professional mobile application development experience
* 3+ years of hands-on Flutter and Dart development experience delivering production applications
* Experience publishing and maintaining applications in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
* Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code signing, and deployment processes
* Experience implementing push notifications, deep linking, application monitoring, and crash reporting solutions
* Experience with mobile testing frameworks and automated test strategies
* Strong understanding of mobile architecture, state management, and scalable application design patterns
* Knowledge of native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) development concepts
* Familiarity with backend APIs, relational databases, and end-to-end troubleshooting across mobile and backend systems
* Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and modern software engineering practices
* Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and mentoring skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with conversational AI, LLM integrations, or AI-powered mobile features
* Experience working in regulated or security-focused environments
* Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
* Strong focus on application security, data privacy, accessibility, and user experience
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
