Job description

Coho Consulting Group is seeking a Senior Operations Analyst to support strategic planning, organizational analysis, and operational process improvement initiatives for the SOCOM Information Environment (SIE) at Hurlburt Field, FL. This position serves as a senior advisor responsible for developing organizational strategies, evaluating mission performance, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, and providing analytical support to Government leadership. The Senior Operations Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to improve operational effectiveness, facilitate governance activities, and ensure alignment with mission priorities.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Develop and analyze organizational plans, strategic initiatives, and performance metrics.
  • Evaluate Federal and DoD strategic guidance to determine impacts on mission operations.
  • Recommend process improvements using Government and industry best practices.
  • Prepare executive briefings, talking papers, reports, and presentation materials.
  • Monitor enterprise operational status and communicate significant issues to leadership.
  • Coordinate governance boards, working groups, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Develop process maps, workflows, charters, and operational documentation.
  • Collect, analyze, and report operational metrics supporting enterprise decision-making.
  • Coordinate multi-organizational meetings, schedules, and strategic events.
  • Support strategic and tactical planning initiatives, including resource prioritization and risk assessments.
  • Research emerging technologies and recommend solutions supporting Communications Contested Environments (CCE).
  • Collaborate with Government leadership to improve mission execution and organizational performance.

Essential Job Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Security Clearance
    • Active Top-Secret Clearance required
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree or Relevant Government experience may be substituted for formal education
    • Experience supporting Department of Defense or Federal Government programs
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
