Senior Financial Analyst, Americas Value & Risk Advisory - JLL

What this job involves:

JLL is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Americas Value & Risk Advisory Finance Team, reporting directly to the Global Head of Finance, Valuation Advisory. This role sits at the intersection of strategic financial planning, commercial business partnering, and technology-enabled transformation.

You'll be responsible for managing the complete financial cycle for US VRA operations while serving as the primary finance advisor to valuation professionals across the business. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape financial strategy for one of JLL's high-growth advisory practices, drive automation and AI integration within finance processes, and influence commercial decision-making at the executive level. If you're a forward-thinking finance professional who thrives on translating complex data into business insight and championing innovation, this role will position you at the forefront of how modern finance teams operate.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Manage the complete financial planning and analysis cycle for US VRA, including annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and rolling outlook models that drive strategic decisions
  • Produce comprehensive monthly management reporting packs with variance analysis and executive commentary for senior leadership review and strategic planning
  • Partner directly with VRA stakeholders as their primary finance contact, providing commercial guidance on valuation engagements, pricing structures, and fee arrangements
  • Build and maintain sophisticated financial models supporting scenario planning, pipeline valuation, and fee forecasting to enable proactive business management
  • Champion the adoption and integration of AI tools and automation within finance processes, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, analytical depth, and insight quality
  • Ensure financial governance and compliance with JLL policies, GAAP standards, and internal control frameworks while liaising with corporate finance teams
  • Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-finance audiences, enabling better business decisions across the organization

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant finance experience in a similar FP&A role
  • Strong accounting fundamentals and technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Genuine interest in and hands-on experience with AI tools in a professional finance context (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Python-based analytics, or similar technologies)
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills with demonstrated presentation capabilities to executive audiences
  • Demonstrated consistency in values, principles, and work ethic with a desire to work in a diverse, collaborative, and high-performing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Audit and internal controls background
  • Proficiency with PeopleSoft General Ledger system
  • Experience in professional services or advisory business environments
  • Prior exposure to commercial real estate or valuation services
  • Track record of implementing process improvements or automation initiatives
  • Experience partnering with senior leadership in a fast-paced growth environment

Estimated compensation for this position:

100,000.00 - 115,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
