Job description

Summary: The Senior Financial Analyst supports the finance organization by providing accurate financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and business insights. This role partners closely with sales and management to support decision‑making, improve financial performance, and ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.


Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis & Reporting

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis versus budget, forecast, and prior periods.
  • Support the month‑end and year‑end close processes by analyzing account activity and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Develop dashboards and management reports to support business performance reviews.

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
  • Monitor actual performance against budget and forecast, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Provide financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic initiatives.

Operational & Business Support

  • Partner with sales, operations, and other departments to analyze cost drivers and profitability.
  • Develop price, volume and mix analysis to help support commercial margin execution
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes and controls.
  • Assist in documenting and improving financial procedures and processes.

Systems & Data

  • Utilize ERP systems, Excel, and BI tools to extract, analyze, and present financial data.
  • Support enhancements to financial reporting and planning tools.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Experience
