Job description

Eaton's ARS division is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. This is an onsite position based at our Sumter, SC facility. Relocation assistance is available!
The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you'll do:
The Senior Financial Analyst will support the Sumter facility in the maintenance of the accounting system that assures that financial records are complete, accurate, and in compliance with company policy, in partnership with the North American Controllership (NAC). The Senior Financial Analyst will be a key contributor for the annual physical inventory process, costing activities, and meeting all Financial Reporting requirements. The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for providing financial analyses and reporting for business leaders for the Sumter, SC manufacturing facility.

In this role, you will:
  • Assist in monthly forecasting process for input into Corporate forecasting system and reporting to Division Headquarters, annual strategic planning and annual profit plan.
  • Prepare various reports and analysis for Internal, Divisional and Government purposes.
  • Monitor Standard Cost System for unauthorized changes, structure maintenance, cost revisions and control, and system integrity.
  • Evaluate cost reduction projects and assess impact on P&L.
  • Provide financial direction to non-financial team members on joint endeavors such as budgeting, cost studies, inventory, etc.
  • Assist in special projects in support of a Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF) culture.
  • Adhere to all safety rules and procedures, including 5S requirements in support of a Zero Incident Safety Culture (ZISC).
  • Responsibilities may include fixed assets inventory, capital investment, cost out initiatives, cost of non-conformance.
  • May support expanded cost accounting / COE activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and required.

Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related discipline from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 2 years of finance experience
