Our client, a publicly traded and innovation-driven life sciences company, is seeking a
Senior Financial Analyst to join its corporate finance team. This is a rare opportunity to work in a highly analytical role with direct exposure to executive leadership, including the CFO.
Location: Washington, DC (5 days/week onsite)
Work Authorization: U.S. Citizens and Green Card holders only
Key Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for multiple SG&A cost centers (e.g., Legal, Finance, Sales).
- Present monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting results directly to senior executives.
- Oversee month-end close activities for corporate functions.
- Assist with SEC reporting and SOX compliance efforts.
- Support procurement and contract negotiations.
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to drive planning and performance insights.
Ideal Profile
- CPA required, with Big 4 public accounting experience, including at least one year at the senior associate level.
- 3+ years of total experience in audit and/or corporate finance.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and SOX 404.
- Excellent analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency.
- ERP experience (Microsoft Dynamics or similar) is a plus.
- Industry experience in life sciences or pharmaceuticals is a plus.
