Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Senior Financial Systems Analyst for a contract position with a Major US Airline located in SeaTac, WA. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. The Senior Financial Systems Analyst is a subject matter expert on the delivery and support team focused on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Integration, business process maintenance, improvement, and automation for our client. As an individual contributor, this role exercises considerable judgement to make decisions as the day-to-day functional point-of-contact. This analyst is responsible to review, analyze and evaluate user needs to formulate and implement solutions that address business strategies, in partnership with a team of analysts, to solve complex problems and improve processes for our client. Responsibilities: Serves as PeopleSoft subject matter expert supporting General Ledger, Asset Management, Accounts Payable, Purchasing modules, or eProcurement modules Creates and maintains business requirements documents, system configuration documents, detailed functional specification documents, test plans and test cases, user training documents and implementation documentation as necessary Works collaboratively with development teams to design, test and implement system modifications and ensures successful delivery of the work products Maintains in-depth knowledge of business practices, regulations, workflows, interfaces, and systems design in the assigned subject matter area; understands and maintains configurations and integrations between functional areas Provides ongoing analysis, maintenance and functional support for financial systems throughout the organization Liaises with IT technical support, Supply Chain, and Finance, teams to resolve complex system errors/inquiries Leads process improvement by investigating, identifying, and implementing PeopleSoft features or modules not currently in use; identifying areas where business processes depart from delivered PeopleSoft 9.2 software solutions; providing input into selective adoption strategy Interacts with business customers (internal and external) to understand and document their business processes and requirements Performs other duties and other projects as assigned Requirements: 4 years of experience with functional analysis supporting PeopleSoft Financials or another large enterprise resource planning (ERP) system Bachelor's degree, with a focus in Finance, Accounting or Information Technology, or an additional two years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree Thorough understanding of the business processes and functions; Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Financial Reporting or Accounting Ability to quickly learn processes and systems and recommend appropriate changes, to gain stakeholder buy-in Proven conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving abilities Passionate about business being done right with the ability to produce timely and accurate results A self-starter who takes ownership of their work and excels with minimum supervision Ability to work well under pressure and effectively manage multiple, concurrent tasks A strong disposition for customer service supported by excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills Willingness to learn from and return value to Finance stakeholders by working collaboratively with others and as part of a team High school diploma or equivalent is required Minimum age of 18 Must be authorized to work in the U.S Desired skills: PeopleSoft experience in a functional/business analyst or support role PeopleSoft query skills PeopleSoft financials data model PeopleSoft security PeopleSoft implementations/upgrades in 9.X Oracle PUM continuous delivery, selective adoption model PeopleSoft approval framework nVision reporting CPA certification International Institute of Business Analysis CCBA or CBAP certification Pay range: up to $86.20 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) employees will be considered for this position.
