As a Sr Critical Environment Manager, your role is to oversee and lead a team of engineers responsible for planning, maintaining, repairing facilities equipment and services and implementing technical solutions to support the smooth running of the facility.

Your primary responsibilities may include:

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to the engineering team.
  • Set clear objectives, define roles and responsibilities, and ensure the team is aligned with organizational goals.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages innovation, knowledge sharing, and professional growth.

Project Management:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as project managers and stakeholders, to understand project requirements and support and deliver solutions efficiently.
  • Plan and manage engineering projects, including resource allocation, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Monitor the progress of projects, identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks, and ensure timely delivery.

Technical Expertise:

  • Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in engineering.
  • Provide technical guidance and assist the team in designing robust and scalable solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews, offer technical feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards and practices.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements in the engineering department.
  • Implement and enforce engineering best practices, quality standards, and methodologies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by seeking feedback, measuring results, and implementing appropriate changes.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and align engineering initiatives accordingly.
  • Communicate project updates, technical challenges, and solutions to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Experience requirements to perform assigned duties:

  • 5+ years in relatable technical fields with experienced in HVAC, clean rooms, lab space, or critical environment
  • 2+ years management experience including at least one year in property or facilities management, and demonstrated leadership experience
  • Experience with controls and HVAC troubleshooting
  • Strong initiative, customer service orientated, and ability to function as part of a complex team
  • Budget preparation, vendor management and administration experience required
  • Worked within lab and cleanroom environments (recommended)
  • Experience working within high stress and demanding environments
  • High school diploma or equivalent

In summary, as an Sr. Critical Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for leading, managing, and guiding your engineering team to deliver high-quality, flawless execution of maintenance solutions that meet organizational requirements and contribute to the overall success of the client.

Estimated compensation for this position:

161,000.00 - 204,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
