Senior Environmental Engineer

Seattle (Hybrid)

Our client, a well-established employee-owned environmental consulting firm, is looking for a Senior Environmental Engineer to help lead remediation projects from investigation through cleanup, closure, and regulatory approval. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the technical work while also managing projects, guiding junior staff, and working directly with clients and regulators.

This person will play a key role in developing practical cleanup strategies, evaluating remediation options, preparing technical deliverables, and keeping complex projects moving forward. Senior Environmental Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Strong experience in site investigation, remediation design, and implementation.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (reports, proposals, client communication).
  • Experience with client development or expanding service offerings.
  • Familiarity with GIS and environmental data tools.
  • Experience in specialized remediation areas (e.g., PFAS, sediment, vapor intrusion, stormwater).
