IT Systems Engineering Advisor Sr 
Memphis, TN
 OR Remote (Locals)
Requirements:

**This position is a Contract with a set duration of 6 months- 1 year**

  • What is vSphere and what are its main components?
  • What is the function of vCenter Server?
  • What are the differences between VMFS and NFS datastores?
  • Explain how vMotion works. What requirements must be met for a successful vMotion?
  • What is a snapshot in VMware? What are the best practices around snapshot usage
  • Can you explain HA (High Availability) and DRS (Distributed Resource Scheduler)?

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Licensing: Bachelor’s degree in information management, computer science, or related technology field from an accredited college or university preferred. Related technical institute certification preferred.

Experience:Eight (8) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include four (4) years of experience designing, implementing and maintaining technology infrastructure; configuring and troubleshooting.

  • Senior engineer who can run/support VMware 6.7 – 8.x, ESXi, vSphere, vCenter, vRops, etc. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills, PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
