What You'll Be Doing

  • Install, calibrate, maintain and optimize instrumentation, control systems, and electrical equipment across assigned facilities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving PLCs, drives, instrumentation and industrial control systems.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and recommend repair, replacement, or system improvements.
  • Work closely with maintenance and operations teams to improve equipment reliability and uptime.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts for process control and system performance.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including JSA, LOTO, confined space, and PPE requirements.

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and control systems
  • Working knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley or similar preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with instrumentation (pressure, flow, level, temperature) and calibration experience needed.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and loop diagrams
  • Solid understanding of industrial process control systems and automation
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Self-motivated to work independently
  • Ability to travel 50% to multiple sites within North Carolina and South Carolina, including some overnight stay.

Work Environment

This role works in an industrial manufacturing setting with exposure to varying temperatures, heights, confined spaces, and areas requiring the use of personal protective equipment. The position involves both indoor and outdoor work, as well as periods of standing, climbing, and lifting as part of daily responsibilities. This role is based in Georgetown, SC, and requires periodic travel to other company plant locations. A company vehicle will be provided for travel between sites.
