  • Code & Compliance Authority: Ensure all designs align with the National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA Life Safety standards, and stringent energy codes; providing official seals on drawings in applicable jurisdictions.

  • Specifications & Documentation: Author and edit high-precision technical specifications using CSI MasterFormat to guide construction clarity.

  • Construction Administration: Lead the bridge between design and reality by managing submittal reviews, responding to RFIs, and conducting due diligence fieldwork.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.

  • Licensure: Active Professional Engineering (PE) license.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in electrical building systems design (Commercial, Industrial, or Healthcare).

  • Software Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite; professional exposure to AutoCAD and/or Revit MEP.
