Job description

Seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer with strong leadership qualities to join our team. This is a leadership role managing multiple electrical design projects, building your MEP team for the eastern region in the US mentoring junior staff, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee electrical system design for commercial, retail, hospitality, and industrial projects from concept through construction documentation.
  • Perform NEC demand/load, short-circuit, lighting, and voltage-drop calculations. Develop one-line diagrams, panelboard circuiting, and mechanical equipment schedules.
  • Manage multiple priorities, budgets, and deadlines. Review shop drawings and equipment submittals. Conduct field observations and site surveys.
  • Guide and support junior engineers/designers, delegate tasks, and foster professional growth.
  • Maintain positive client relationships, provide technical consultation, and ensure project deliverables meet client expectations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Minimum 8 years in electrical design engineering with proven leadership experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and electrical design documentation.
  • Strong understanding of building electrical systems and NEC-based calculation.
