Job description

Senior Electrical Engineer - Industrial Power Systems

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join a growing engineering team supporting complex industrial and process industry projects.

In this role, you will lead and support electrical system design efforts involving power distribution, substations, control systems, lighting, grounding, hazardous area classifications, and more. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys technical leadership, project collaboration, and hands-on problem solving.

Key Responsibilities:
* Perform electrical engineering calculations, analysis, and design
* Develop technical specifications, reports, and construction documents
* Lead single and multi-discipline engineering projects
* Review vendor drawings, calculations, and installation work
* Support field troubleshooting and client interface activities
* Utilize AutoCAD and other engineering software tools
* Mentor and coordinate with designers and engineering staff

This position is a hybrid role with three days in the office and two days remote.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
* 10+ years of electrical systems design experience
* PE License highly preferred
* Experience with power distribution, substations, control systems, and industrial facilities
* Knowledge of NFPA standards, SKM and/or ETAP preferred
* Experience with AutoCAD and working knowledge of Revit/BIM
* Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills
