Job description

Compensation : $125,000 - $140,000
The Manager of Process Control & Electrical Engineering plays a critical role in supporting production and facility operations by driving process reliability, optimization, and continuous improvement. This position combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibility, overseeing both day-to-day troubleshooting and the successful execution of capital and improvement projects.
This role is based onsite and reports directly to the Maintenance Manager.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a team of 2-4 process control and electrical engineering professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
  • Provide direction and oversight to external drafting and design resources
  • Ensure full compliance with all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards, with a strong focus on electrical safety and regulatory requirements
  • Drive process optimization by identifying improvement opportunities and implementing sustainable solutions
  • Serve as the technical lead for troubleshooting complex process, control system, and power distribution issues
  • Manage and execute capital and continuous improvement projects from concept through completion
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to achieve production and performance goals
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
  • 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering and process control within an industrial environment
  • Strong knowledge of industrial power distribution systems
  • Experience with process control platforms such as Foxboro systems preferred
  • Proficiency with Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMI systems strongly desired
