JOB LOCATION: Remote but must be open to travel for the project to Alpharetta, GA when needed

Knowledge of all ANSI X12N 5010 transaction sets, including IBM ITX map development, EDI translation, HIPAA/X12 validation, compliance validation rule implementation, and EDI integration solutions.
JOB DESCRIPTION
We need a Senior developer to act as lead COTS team member for a multiple Medicaid states requiring formal education and relevant expertise in a pre-defined technology stacks including IBM ITX as well as downstream applications such as linux, database, reporting, etc. in a healthcare EDI environment.
-General knowledge of CMMI standard practices
-Performs technical configuration-based and support activities.
-Contributes to and manages projects.
-Uses deductive reasoning to solve problems and make recommendations.

-Leverages previous knowledge and expertise to achieve results.

Responsibility Statements
-Designs, develops documents, tests, and debugs new and existing software systems and applications.
-Performs CAQH CORE validation
-Generates firewall rules and validate results
-Transforms business requirements into system definitions and clear solutions.
-Applies recurring ECL releases as they are released both quarterly and annually in a multi-environment platform.
-Serves as a technical expert on development projects including version upgrades.
-Participates in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design following CMMI maturity level 3 requirements.
-Understands various software architecture and implementation methods.
-Identifies gaps in system/requirements software development model.
-Creates technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
-Supports maintains and documents software functionality.
-Analyzes system configuration and end-to-end transactional mapping to find causes of errors and perform revisions as necessary.
-Maintains configuration and version control in Azure DEV OPS.
-Examines user needs to determine technical requirements.
-Consults with end-users to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs.
-Digest and analyze critical and non-critical alerts, taking action as required.
- Knowledge of all ANSI X12N 5010 transaction sets, including IBM ITX map development, EDI translation, HIPAA/X12 validation, compliance validation rule implementation, and EDI integration solutions.
-Requires expanded conceptual understanding of IBM ITX in a healthcare clearinghouse platform, including theories, practices, and procedures.
