Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Economic Damages & Valuation team. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven individual with a strong analytical and communication skill set to join a collaborative and growing practice, where responsibilities extend beyond traditional consulting roles.
The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in evaluating economic damages within personal injury and employment litigation matters, with experience supporting expert report preparation, particularly related to wage loss claims. This role offers the opportunity to manage a variety of complex engagements, including personal injury, wrongful death, divorce, wage and hour, business valuation, and other economic damage claims, while working closely with senior leadership.
This position is well suited for someone who is eager to develop their expertise in economic damages methodologies and take an active role in producing clear, defensible analyses and reports. Our team is highly focused on mentorship and development, with a strong emphasis on building future experts. Over time, individuals in this role will have the opportunity to deepen their technical skills, expand their case ownership, and contribute to report preparation at a higher level as their experience grows.
Job Responsibilities
  • Manage litigation engagements to evaluate economic damages, perform analysis and prepare economic loss reports, while not being identified as the testifying expert in the case.
  • Having direct contact with current clients, when necessary regarding document requests, reporting findings of our analysis mostly in coordination with Senior/Executive/Vice President participation
  • Interacting with clients, including face-to-face meetings, to gather data and information pertinent to the engagement
  • Preparing damages analyses, including determining appropriate methodologies and building and reviewing financial models, managing other consultants in performing tasks relevant to preparing a report our findings. Taking the lead in managing a file and writing the report in conjuction with a team approach
  • Review and analyze reports of opposing damages experts

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Business, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, or Accounting
  • 3-7 years of experience evaluating economic damages in personal injury or employment litigation
  • Experience evaluating economic damages in litigation cases
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, with strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to produce high-quality expert reports
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Advanced analytical and critical thinking abilities
  • Ability to manage deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong independent work ethic with demonstrated leadership capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively support and address client needs

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree with strong quantitative bias (e.g. Business, Economics, Math, Finance or Accounting
  • Experience evaluating economic damages in litigation cases; 5 years preferred
  • Professional certifications (ex. CEA, CVA, ABV etc.), or have demonstrated progress towards obtaining relevant certifications.

Physical and Mental Job Qualifications
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to travel as needed

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $90,000 - $130,000. Any offered salary range is based on a wide array of factors including but not limited to skillset, experience, training, location, scope of role, management responsibility, etc.
