Job Description

We are on a mission to empower designers and developers worldwide and are trying to fundamentally change the nature of creation and motion. LottieFiles has proven that relevant design assets and motion graphics evoke emotion and humanizes apps and platforms.
We have assembled one of the largest communities in our industry with over a million raving fans from over 70,000+ companies (Google, TikTok, Disney, Uber, Airbnb, and Netflix etc) who use our platform and tools every day to enhance their workflow and ship incredibly engaging content.
On average, a new lottie file is uploaded to the platform every 15 seconds. These assets range from simple animated icons to animated product onboarding and walkthroughs, system animations on smartwatches, interactive infographics for online publications, and countless other use cases across devices.

Description

We are seeking an innovative mind, exceptional Platform Engineer to join our growing team. We're looking for someone passionate about technology and the future of motion design.

As a member of our team, you'll be taking on a high degree of ownership and responsibility. Your ability to communicate, break through challenges, and bring positive energy to your work and relationships, is vital.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain internal services for authentication, file management system, data lake and GraphQL API
  • Responsible for federated GraphQL API schema stewarding
  • Research and implement improvements for internal services
  • Define and set the development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
  • Produce high-level documentation when requires
  • Work closely with internal tech teams to gather requirements and understand current challenges
  • Provide tools and systems to streamline every technical developments at LottieFiles

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working in a DevOps/Platform/Infrastructure role; 2+ years of experience with software engineering
  • A desire to build systems and tools that make life easier for other developers
  • Thrive in solving and architecting solutions
  • Great at communication and documentation

Must Have

  • Javascript/Typescript (bonus points if you also know C#, Kotlin or Go)
  • GraphQL and gRPC
  • Docker/Kubernetes and the general concepts around container orchestration
  • Git and GitOps
  • Good familiarity and experience with AWS
