Job Summary
We are seeking a full lifecycle Senior Recruiter who has proven experience of filling a wide range of construction positions at a high volume. The ideal candidate has successfully recruited construction craft, trades, functional, and technical skillsets in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. This person will be integral to fulfilling a wide range of skillsets that will allow Loenbro to grow current projects and expand into new business areas throughout our Southwest region. This person will be required to work onsite at our Tempe hiring center and may be asked to visit jobsites or travel to other locations up to 10%.
Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop proactive recruitment strategies.
  • Lead efforts to source, screen, and assess candidates for qualifications and suitability.
  • Primary focus on recruiting within the electrical, mechanical, structural, soft crafts, and coatings construction fields.
  • Consistently discover new ways to attract talent and keep a healthy pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Take a proactive sourcing approach. You don't wait around for positions to open up or someone to give you instructions. You strive to always find the best talent and are not afraid to get on the phone.
  • Contribute to enhancing Loenbro's employer brand to position the company as an employer of choice.
  • Represent the company at job fairs, networking events, and industry functions.

Other duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations.
Minimum Qualifications
Required:
  • 5+ years of experience in full-lifecycle recruitment, preferably in the Construction industry.
  • Proven success proactively recruiting high-volume craft and technical talent. Preference for those who have built their talent network in the construction industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Hands on experience with a wide range of ATS platforms, with a high preference for Greenhouse. Must be experienced with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience successfully delivering results in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or equivalent discipline. Higher education or certificates in recruiting.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, with full capability to read, write, and speak in both languages.
  • Brings a network of craft, trades, and leadership professionals with them.
