  • Create rapport and positive working relationships with key facility personnel and fellow Legacy employees that allows for discovery of others' needs.
  • Oversee internal marketing efforts to assist with relationship building with staff and residents while keeping community leaders apprised of Legacy's programs and other offerings.
  • Manage site productivity and makes necessary changes to achieve budget.
  • Maintain a caseload that assists the rehab department in meeting standards.
  • Able to assess patient needs and develop clinical programs appropriate for the facility census.
  • Able to direct and train others in clinical service delivery across disciplines.
  • Daily coordination of rehab department with facility staff to plan and implement therapy programming.
  • Participates in clinical outcomes reporting and shares with the customer.
  • Manages staff schedules to meet the caseload requirements and utilizes the scheduling tools for patient schedules.
  • Manages CliniFax and all requirements of physician signatures on the therapy plan of cares.
  • Creates and maintains team relationships and open communication with and between rehab staff, facility staff, and Legacy corporate personnel.
  • Assists with orientation/training for staff with guidance and assistance from ARD/ MSM to meet company, state and federal standards.

Position requirements:

Clinical background as a Physical Therapist (PT), Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), Occupational Therapist (OT), Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), or   

   Speech Language Pathologies (SLP). Three to five years' experience in long-term care (LTC) or senior living. Some prior supervisory experience preferred but not required. Minimum of a degree from accredited college or university or equivalent experience (i.e., degree in PT, PTA, OT, COTA, SLP). Licensed and registered (PT, PTA, OT, COTA, SLP) in state where assigned.
