Job description

DevOps Software Engineer

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking an experienced DevOps Software Engineer who will help us change the game by becoming an integral part of the Self-checkout software team as we transition from using traditional software deployment methodology to using DevOps best practices and principles to move more toward CI/CD for major global retailers.

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • Experience applying CI/CD in a Linux or Microsoft Stack
  • Expertise in code deployment and configuration management tools (Ansible is preferred.)
  • Expertise with software-automation production systems and CI/CD tools (Jenkins is preferred.)
  • Experience using an object-oriented programming language
  • Proficient with scripting languages like Python
  • Automated testing experience

Nice to have:

  • PostgreSQL experience
  • Hypervisor technologies (vmware, virtualbox)
  • Familiarity with microservices
  • Retail experience
  • Other: Make, Git, Ant
