Job Purpose/Summary:

This position is responsible for the management and delivery of development programs for leadership in support of the business and talent strategy. This includes building strategic direction and frameworks, as well as the design and delivery of innovative and transformative leadership development programs (NEXT, SLx, Coaching, etc.) and processes for Tyson's executive leadership enterprise-wide. This role will ensure development programs are fully integrated into overall talent management strategy and practices that align with Tyson's overall vision and culture in order to support the business goals and objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction and design innovative and transformative leadership development programs and processes for executive-level leaders
  • Ensure development programs are fully integrated into overall talent strategy and practices that enable the future leaders of the organization to reach their full potential
  • Constantly assess and evaluate the effectiveness of current development programs and processes and seek to improve through research of market trends and best practices in the Executive Development space
  • Establish relationships with external vendors, partnering to create and customize content
  • Critically analyze development programs for effectiveness and readiness for business in order to drive improvements and align on key business needs through use of key data analytics and qualitative metrics
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence
  • Manage budget and resources effectively to maximize the impact of learning initiatives

Requirements:

Experience: 5 years of relevant work experience

Education: Requires broad knowledge in a general professional field normally acquired through 4 years of college resulting in a bachelor s degree or equivalent

Computer Skills: Standard computer skills
Communication Skills: This position is expected to communicate recommendations and implement onboarding strategies across a broad range of users, stakeholders, and management. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills required. Team member must be able to adapt their communication style for all levels within the organization
Special Skills: Ability to drive improvement and integration of processes, technology, and people; Ability to build trust and relationships; Excellent time management and prioritization skills
Supervisory: Yes
Travel: 5-10 domestic trips per year
