Job description

Location: Denver, CO

Work Options: In-Office

Typical Day in the Life

As the Support Engineer for our Denver office you will provide onsite technical support. Analyze and troubleshoot computer support problems and apply understanding of computer software and hardware products to resolve problems for end users. Maintain office hardware and software inventories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides excellent technical assistance and desktop support to end users at our Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins, and Grand Junction locations.
  • Installs, modifies, and repairs computer hardware and software.
  • Troubleshoots computer systems and/or printer hardware issues.
  • Troubleshoots software issues.
  • Troubleshoots miscellaneous network and server issues.
  • Asks questions to determine nature of the problem.
  • Walks end users through the problem-solving process.
  • Documents end users queries, problems, and solutions.
  • Follows up with end users to ensure issue has been resolved.
  • Provides onsite support for Help Desk in a multi-location office.
  • Maintains office hardware and software inventories.
  • Serves as a back-up resource for the Help Desk call center.
  • Ensures timely and accurate performance on assigned projects.
  • Maintains compliance with project budgets, turnaround times, and deadlines.

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching.
  • Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment.
  • Hearing must be in the normal range for telephone contacts.
  • Requires the ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Prompt and dependable attendance.

Who You Are

  • Associate’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
  • 2-4 years of experience with Microsoft products.
  • 2-4 years of experience with PC hardware.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
  • Working knowledge PC and printer hardware.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Proven problem solving and troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines by setting priorities with work projects.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and clients.

Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.

Our compensation philosophy emphasizes competitive and equitable pay. Eide Bailly complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges. Final compensation decisions are dependent upon factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and internal equity.  

Salary Range: $27-$34/hr
