General Summary
The role is primarily responsible for maintaining the workstation environment for all staff, prioritizing the needs of the Executive team when applicable

Requirements
Superior IT support knowledge is required. Must be able to install, configure and troubleshoot current desktop operating systems, PC hardware and peripherals, and Microsoft business applications
High attention to detail in planning, reporting and execution of assigned work and must be proactive in resolving issues or developing better work practices
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have excellent time management skills for daily tasks and projects
Must be able to work flexible hours and some additional after hours may be required

Responsibilities
This role is hands-on and demands effective analysis, troubleshooting and accurate problem solving of technical issues of varying complexity
The Senior Desktop Support Technician will support our end users by providing in-person and remote troubleshooting, as well as white glove support for Executives. 
Primary area of responsibility is effective analysis, troubleshooting and accurate problem solving of technical issues of varying complexity degree by responding to issues received through the service management system
Track and thoroughly detail technology issues through service management system

Test and deploy hardware and software solutions as part of new deployments, break-fix issues, and move-add-change
Follow up with end users to ensure their technology needs are being met and issues are resolved
Identify issues, propose solutions, and test new technologies or process changes
Assist with end-user technology projects, such as migrations, deployments
Creating/updating documentation (i.e., SOP's, Job Aids, FAQ's, etc.)

Qualifications
3-5 Years of experience as a Desktop Technician
Excellent communication skills and problem-solving skills
Oil and Gas IT experience a plus
