What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive as a senior dentist?

To thrive as a Senior Dentist, you need advanced clinical expertise in dentistry, a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree, and a valid dental license. Familiarity with digital radiography, practice management software, and specialized dental equipment is typically required. Effective communication and leadership skills are essential to foster collaboration and maintain a positive work environment. Staying updated with the latest dental technologies and protocols also helps in mentoring less experienced staff and ensuring the practice runs efficiently.

Job description

Location: Seattle, WA (Metropolitan Area) | Schedule: 7 days per month (Weekdays) | Compensation: $900 per visit | Position Type: Independent Contractor (1099)

About The Opportunity

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Part-Time Dentist to provide care in several structured, outpatient clinic-based environments across the Seattle Metropolitan area.

This is a clinic-based role where youโ€™ll function as an extension of the clinical team within a coordinated, community-focused setting serving senior populations.

The Setting

This opportunity operates within a community-based outpatient clinic model.

  • Clinic staff are on-site full time
  • Organized scheduling and patient flow
  • Coordinated, team-based care environment
  • Value-based model focused on seniors

We manage equipment, supplies, scheduling, and billing logistics, allowing you to focus entirely on delivering high-quality dental care.

What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Provide comprehensive dental care including exams, preventive services, extractions, and basic restorative procedures
  • Diagnose and manage oral health conditions commonly seen in aging populations
  • Collaborate with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team
  • Deliver patient-centered care in a structured outpatient setting
What Makes This Different

This is not a high-volume rotating model.

Our dentists are integrated into established clinic environments and represent Comprehensive Mobile Care directly within each partner location.

We emphasize:

  • Quality over volume
  • Consistency and predictability
  • Administrative and logistical support
  • Long-term clinic partnerships
  • Ethical, mission-driven healthcare delivery
Qualifications
  • DDS or DMD from an accredited program
  • Active Washington dental license
  • Experience treating senior populations preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and chairside manner
  • Comfortable practicing in outpatient clinic environments
Schedule
  • Typical hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm
  • No nights
  • No weekends
Compensation:
  • $900 per day
  • Independent Contractor (1099)

About Us:

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is a family-founded healthcare organization with over 25 years of experience increasing access to care for senior and underserved communities across 20+ states.
