Job Summary:
Rimini Street, Inc. is a trusted global provider of enterprise software support and innovative solutions. They are seeking a Sr. Associate Engineer, Security to manage and support security solutions, collaborating with IT teams and Security Solutions Architects to ensure the protection of client environments.
Responsibilities:
• Managing, monitoring, and upgrading security measures for the protection of the organization's data, systems, and networks
• Troubleshooting security problems
• Monitoring application/database for security breaches, malicious attempts
• Ensuring that the organization's data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls
• Participating in the change management process
• Participating in client meetings
• Create/Maintain standard operating procedures
• Report to members of senior management on potential threats, proposed improvements, and ongoing security issues
• Constantly strive to find vulnerabilities in hardware, software, and applications
• Appropriately respond to security breaches and investigate how they occurred
• Keep updated on cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or cyber security
• Linux/Windows knowledge is a requirement
• Understanding of incident detection, incident response, and forensics
• Understanding of Firewalls and Endpoint Security
