Job Description Data Governance Architect Location: Denver, CO or Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid) Schedule: Full-Time Onsite Requirement: Preferred onsite 1-3 days per week Travel: Occasional travel may be expected to other headquarters Position Overview This is a brand-new individual contributor role supporting the Customer Core Program, which is implementing SAP as the billing system. The role is heavily focused on defining and establishing customer data governance processes across customer domains as SAP is rolled out. The Data Governance Architect will be responsible for partnering with SAP tower leads during blueprinting, collaborating with Enterprise Data Governance, and ensuring governance standards are defined and implemented.

This role does not manage people and focuses on process leadership and cross-functional collaboration. The architect sits on the strategy side and serves the analytics and value-realization layer of the project. Key Responsibilities Work with SAP tower leads to define data requirements.

Partner with Enterprise Data Governance to define and establish customer data governance processes across customer domains. Collaborate with System Integrators (SI), Business Integrators (BI), and internal business and technology teams. Ensure governance standards are defined and implemented as SAP is rolled out.

Support the expansion of governance efforts across customer domains. Support reporting and analytics alignment with SAP blueprinting. Provide overall responsibility for the design, development, documentation, and quality of the technical architecture that will support the functional design.

Coordinate the design efforts of the various technical architects to ensure that the designs work together properly. Strategically design and implement data warehouses, data marts, and data stores, while ensuring high levels of data availability. Define data standards and models for warehouse architectures.

Required Qualifications 4-6 years of relevant experience. SAP S/4HANA Utilities or IS-U functional foundation. Strong communication skills.

Strong problem-solving skills. Strong stakeholder management skills. Adaptability and the ability to work effectively in a transformation environment.

Experience working across business and technology teams. Ability to lead processes and drive cross-functional collaboration in an individual contributor role. Preferred Qualifications SAP Datasphere certification.

SAP Analytics Cloud certification. CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional). Experience with enterprise data governance practices.

Experience supporting reporting and analytics alignment. Experience defining data requirements and governance standards across multiple data domains.
