What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a senior data scientist at Citizen?

To thrive as a Senior Data Scientist at Citizen, you need advanced proficiency in statistics, machine learning, data modeling, and a relevant degree such as in computer science, mathematics, or a related field. Expertise with programming languages like Python or R, experience with big data platforms (e.g., Spark, Hadoop), and familiarity with cloud data services are typically required. Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills help you translate complex data into actionable insights and collaborate across teams. These competencies enable the delivery of robust, data-driven solutions that support Citizen's mission and drive informed decision-making.
