About the role:
We are looking for a Field Data Analyst to support data validation, analysis, and reporting for deployed robotic systems. This role sits within the Service organization and works closely with field operations, engineering, and customer teams to ensure that operational data from deployed robots is accurate, interpretable, and actionable.
The analyst will support both Data Delivery QA and Field Performance Audits, helping validate mission datasets, investigate operational trends, and generate structured reports for internal teams and customers.
Key Responsibilities
Data Validation & Quality Assurance
    • Validate mission datasets generated by deployed robots.
    • Perform completeness, schema, and integrity checks on field data.
    • Identify corrupted, incomplete, or anomalous datasets.
    • Support QA processes before datasets are used for analysis or reporting.
Field Data Analysis
    • Analyze operational logs and mission data to identify trends or anomalies.
    • Investigate system behavior using telemetry and mission outputs.
    • Support root-cause analysis by extracting insights from field datasets.
Client Reporting & Insights
    • Generate clear performance reports and summaries for customers.
    • Translate technical data into understandable insights.
    • Support periodic reporting on autonomy performance and system behavior.
Operational Support
    • Work with Fleet Operations, Rapid Support, and Solution Delivery to investigate field issues.
    • Assist in identifying recurring operational problems from data.
    • Provide validated datasets to engineering teams for debugging.
Process Improvement
    • Improve internal data validation workflows.
    • Support development of automated checks and dashboards.
    • Maintain documentation of datasets, reporting templates, and QA procedures.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to work with messy operational datasets
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, or similar data analysis tools

$75,000 - $115,005 a year
Compensation
The salary range for this role is dependent upon experience. The actual offer for this position will be based on factors such as relevant experience, competencies, certifications, and how well the candidate meets the qualifications outlined above. Part of our compensation package also includes full benefits, equity, and generous time.
