Job description

Tenacious Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior Data Analyst with an active public trust clearance to assist a client in the Northern VA area. This is a crucial role in helping our client make data-driven decisions. Note this position is contingent upon contract award.

** U.S. Citizenship is required with an active Public Trust Clearance **

Primary job duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data using advanced statistical and computer-based modeling techniques.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and predictive insights through sophisticated algorithms and analytical methods.
  • Develop clear visualizations, including graphs, charts, and dashboards, to communicate data-driven findings.
  • Translate mathematical and analytical results into actionable business insights that support project objectives and strategic decision-making.
  • Present findings and recommendations to leadership, explaining the potential business impact and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with management to refine business strategies, optimize processes, and drive profitable growth based on data-driven forecasts and trend analysis.
  • Apply predictive analytics to evaluate future business outcomes and support long-term planning initiatives.
  • Design, implement, and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data is accurately and efficiently moved between systems.
  • Utilize SharePoint and Excel for data storage, collaboration, and workflow automation.
  • Leverage Microsoft 365 applications (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Teams) for data analysis, reporting, and collaboration.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • U.S. Citizenship required with an active public trust clearance or higher.
  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Applied Math Business Intelligence, or a related quantitative discipline is required.
  • 8+ years of progressively responsible experience.
  • Proficiency in the use of standard office software and applications (MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with creating executive dashboards, acquisition analytics, and investment reporting.
  • Expert level experience with Power BI, SharePoint, and enterprise reporting.
  • Excellent data mapping and functional requirements documentation skills.
  • Incredible attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data analysis and reporting to avoid errors that could impact business decisions.
  • Experience presenting data with confidence to team members, customers, and business leadership both in informal and formal presentation settings.
  • Proven problem solving, time management and organizational skills.
  • Hands-on experience with TBM, FinOps and data analytics.
  • Strong expertise with Microsoft O365 applications - Excel, SharePoint, and Power BI.

Anticipated salary range is $120,000 - $140,000. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, clearance level, and relevant education, training and certifications.
