Position Summary

Global C2 Integration Technologies is seeking a Cybersecurity Manager to provide overall leadership, direction, and oversight of cybersecurity activities supporting mission systems operating within a Secure Computing Environment (SCE). This role is responsible for establishing and enforcing cybersecurity strategy, ensuring compliance with government requirements, and maintaining final approval authority for implementation, analysis, and documentation across the program.

The Cybersecurity Manager leads Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), governs Risk Management Framework (RMF) execution, and ensures alignment with NIST SP 800-series standards to achieve and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO). This position plays a critical role in integrating security across the system lifecycle while ensuring adherence to organizational quality assurance standards. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain approval authority for cybersecurity implementation, analysis, and documentation
  • Assign, coordinate, and oversee Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to ensure deliverables align with system requirements and design
  • Positively control IPT schedules in accordance with program milestones and deliverables
  • Direct cybersecurity governance, review processes, and decision-making forums
  • Approve program artifacts and provide strategic direction to support mission and objectives
  • Ensure adherence to organizational quality assurance and cybersecurity standards
  • Lead task planning, schedule tracking, and coordination with program management
  • Serve as the primary cybersecurity interface with government stakeholders, including Authorizing Officials (AO), ISSMs, and ISSOs
  • Ensure cybersecurity efforts are integrated across engineering, operations, and program management activities
  • Oversee resource allocation and prioritize cybersecurity efforts based on mission risk
  • Oversee implementation and execution of the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • Ensure compliance with NIST SP 800-series standards, including 800-53 control implementation and overlays
  • Maintain responsibility for ATO readiness and sustainment activities
  • Oversee development, review, and approval of accreditation documentation (SSPs, POA&Ms, SARs, etc.)
  • Provide strategic direction for secure system architecture and design within a defense-in-depth framework
  • Ensure requirements are integrated into system engineering, development, and deployment
  • Oversee secure configuration of Windows, Linux, and virtualized environments
  • Guide implementation of security controls across networks, systems, and applications
  • Direct identification, assessment, and mitigation of system security risks
  • Oversee vulnerability management, patching strategies, and remediation efforts
  • Maintain visibility into security posture and provide recommendations to leadership
  • Approve cybersecurity documentation supporting system lifecycle compliance
  • Enforce documentation standards and configuration control processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 10+ years of cybersecurity experience, including leadership or management responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-series standards and RMF
  • Experience managing cybersecurity efforts for enterprise or mission systems
  • Experience overseeing security for Windows and/or Linux environments
  • Demonstrated experience in task planning, scheduling, and team coordination
  • Experience in classified or secure computing environments
  • Experience leading IPTs or cross-functional engineering teams
