Description

Data Intelligence is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to support one of our premier clients in the defense sector. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to mission-critical programs that enhance national security and defense capabilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure systems and networks across complex defense environments.

As a Senior Cyber Security Engineer, you will leverage your technical expertise to assess vulnerabilities, develop mitigation strategies, ensure compliance with DoD security frameworks, and safeguard critical systems from emerging threats


Required Skills/Experience

  • Noted experience below in cybersecurity requirements development, cyber threat analysis, cyber engineering, cyber systems architecture development or cybersecurity policy development experience.
  • Submarine-Launched Ballistic Missile  (SLBM) - Seven (7) years of SLBM experience
  • All other Programs/WE require five (5) years program specific security engineering experience working with Navy afloat/tactical combat systems or ten (10) years general security engineering experience.
  • Possess an understanding of cybersecurity, military system specifications, DoD Information Assurance (IA) policies for both Land Based and afloat/tactical systems, and the ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in written and oral presentations.
  • At least a Top Secret level security clearance that is current and active

Required Certifications:

  • IAT II or higher
