LOCATION

This position will be located at our Headquarters in College Station, Texas. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, information technology, or other related technical field with minimum seven (7) years of experience in IT Solution Delivery, and Product Development. Three (3) to five (5) years of management experience required. Knowledge of Farm Credit lending practices preferred.

JOB SUMMARY

  • Plays a pivotal role in shaping the IT roadmap, oversee technology operations, and ensures timely delivery of IT solutions, aligning with the business objectives. Responsible for driving innovation, optimizing IT systems and processes, managing IT resources, and enhance technology capabilities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provides technical guidance to Application, Data & QA teams, fostering professional development and mentorship.
  • Manages IT application project portfolio, ensuring timely delivery, continuous improvement, system upgrades and quality standards.
  • Executes digital transformation initiatives to enhance the organization's competitiveness and customer experience.
  • Identifies opportunities for technological innovation, evaluating emerging technologies, and implementing solutions that enhance the organization's technical capabilities.
  • Oversees the daily operations of IT systems and services to ensure reliability, security, and performance.
  • Collaborates with senior leadership, department heads, and stakeholders to understand and address their technology needs and challenges.
  • Effective communication with senior leadership, staff, and stakeholders to convey the organization's technology roadmap and vision.
  • Drives adoption of IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance, risk management, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensures that the organization's IT systems adhere to security best practices, compliance standards, and data protection regulations.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Must have a deep understanding of IT systems, networks, infrastructure, and emerging technologies to make informed decisions and provide technical guidance.
  • Proficiency in managing IT project portfolios, including planning, resource allocation, and solution delivery.
  • Experience with digital transformation initiatives, leveraging technology to enhance customer experiences and organizational competitiveness.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and foster collaboration.
