As a Senior Cost Accounting Analyst at the Nestle USA Little Chute facility, you will be a Co-Pilot within the Factory Team (vision, organization, practices, initiatives/projects) on a day-to-day basis. Provide financial leadership by supplying factory and corporate management accurate and timely financial data.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop an in-depth knowedge of the factory operations to assist production management in the identification, reporting, analysis and correction of excessive losses, machine inefficiencies and labor inefficiencies.  Partner with operations to maximize performance by designing financial and non-financial measurements and KPIs.  Develop routines to be present on the factory floor.
  • Challenge assumptions in seeking cost improvements in factory. Seek for and support cost improvement opportunities. Be an active contributor to improvement projects and initiatives. 
  • Own and compile accurate, timely financial reporting including period end close activities and daily variance analysis
  • Partner with Engineering to monitor capitalizations. Research capitalization discrepancies and delays. Ensure accurate and timely capitalization adhering to company policy. 
  • Perform fixed asset cycle counts on a routine basis.  Report, track, and forecast asset retirements and impairments.
  • Support compliance to Nestle Accounting Standards, operating instructions and guidelines through monitoring, control reviews and the factory compliance team
  • Reporting, analysis, and support of assigned functional cost centers.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • B.S. Degree in accounting, or other finance degree or equivalent field
  • 2+ years Accounting/Finance experience
  • Communication, leadership and planning skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Ability to communicate to all audiences within the organization
  • Aptitude with financial systems and advanced excel experience
  • Ability to perform moderately complex calculations
  • Analytical thinking, curiosity, and detail oriented
