East Peoria, IL (KK)

Pay: $30-$42/hour (Includes Shift Differential | Based on Experience)
Schedule: AWS Night Shift | 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (12-Hour Shifts)
Full-Time | Overtime Available

If you're the person everyone calls when production goes down, this could be the perfect fit. We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician who enjoys troubleshooting PLCs, electrical systems, and automated equipment to keep manufacturing running safely and efficiently.


A Day in the Life
  • Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and automated systems
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, controls, and automation issues
  • Work with motors, VFDs, sensors, relays, HMIs, and industrial controls
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and ladder logic
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime
  • Complete work orders and document repairs in the CMMS system
  • Support equipment upgrades and continuous improvement projects

Requirements

What You Need
  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Strong PLC troubleshooting experience
  • Advanced electrical and controls knowledge
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot control circuits
  • Experience with motors, motor controls, VFDs, sensors, and automation equipment
  • Manufacturing or heavy industrial maintenance experience
  • Strong understanding of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and safe work practices
Preferred Experience
  • Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar PLC platforms
  • HMI troubleshooting
  • Industrial networking and communications
  • Robotics and automation systems
  • Previous lead or senior maintenance experience
