Are you a proven maintenance leader who thrives in fast-paced manufacturing environments? We're looking for a Sr. Manager, Maintenance & Reliability (TPM) to lead reliability, drive equipment performance, and build a high-performing maintenance team. In this role, you will lead multi-craft maintenance technicians while implementing strategies that maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), minimize downtime, and drive continuous improvement across plant operations.
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for advancing reliability practices, strengthening preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and partnering cross-functionally with Operations and Engineering to ensure equipment and processes perform at their best.PositionSr. Manager, Maintenance & Reliability (TPM)LocationUSA, Decatur, ALHow You'll Create Possibilities

Drive Equipment Reliability & TPM Strategy

  • Lead the development and execution of TPM strategies that improve equipment performance and reduce unplanned downtime.

  • Drive improvements in OEE, reliability, and maintenance efficiency through preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate TPM effectiveness and implement improvements.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process and equipment optimization.

Lead & Develop a High-Performing Maintenance Team

  • Provide daily leadership, coaching, and technical guidance to multi-craft maintenance technicians.

  • Balance workloads and resources to meet production and maintenance priorities.

  • Develop team capabilities through training, feedback, and continuous skill development.

  • Support workforce planning, performance management, and employee development initiatives in partnership with HR.

Coordinate Maintenance Across Operations

  • Work closely with Operations and Engineering teams to schedule and execute preventive and predictive maintenance.

  • Support new equipment installation, design reviews, and commissioning activities.

  • Ensure maintenance activities align with production schedules and plant objectives.

Provide Technical Leadership & Troubleshooting Support

  • Lead root cause analysis and drive long-term solutions to equipment failures.

  • Support troubleshooting of electrical systems, machine controls, PLCs, and power distribution during downtime events.

  • Implement reliability improvements using condition-based monitoring tools such as vibration analysis, infrared thermography, and oil analysis.

Ensure Safety & Compliance

  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations.

  • Lead initiatives that drive improvements in safety, quality, cost, efficiency, and 5S practices.

What You'll Bring to Our Team

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 7+ years' maintenance, engineering and/or operations experience in a high-volume, automated manufacturing environment, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in a leadership role.

  • Experience and/or knowledge with condition-based strategies and equipment such as: Infrared thermography, ultrasound, vibration monitoring, sensors monitoring, and oil analysis.

  • Experience with various reliability processes including planning and scheduling, root cause failure analysis and FMEA, criticality study, statistical study.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong computer skills - high proficiency in Microsoft Office products with the ability to grasp new systems quickly.

  • Must be able to work and manage technicians on all shifts and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, industrial technology or related field.

  • Master's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial) or related technical field

  • Certification in Reliability Leader (CRL) or Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP).

  • Experience with budgets, costing, and suppliers.

  • Hands-on with relevant robotics and controls experience with automated manufacturing equipment and processes.

  • Knowledge of Appliances manufacturing processes.

Working Conditions:

  • Working conditions are normal for both an office and manufacturing environment.

  • Work may be required on weekends, evenings and/or holidays.
