Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Content Marketing Strategist to join the Electrical Infrastructure Division's Commercial Marketing team. This individual translates marketing strategies into compelling content experiences that bring our products, programs, and business priorities to life. Working closely with Marketing leadership, this role develops compelling content and narratives that inspire our audiences to discover, understand, and engage with our solutions. They are responsible for planning, creating, executing, and measuring content performance while ensuring consistent messaging across product launches and marketing programs. With a growth mindset, they continuously identify opportunities to strengthen how our content is consumed, experienced, and optimized. Success is measured by increasing awareness, sales activation, and customer engagement, earning trust with Specifiers, Contractors, Facility Managers, Architects, Engineers, and Distribution partners to inspire meaningful action throughout their journey. This is a remote position, preferably based in the Central or Eastern time zone, with intermittent travel up to 15% as required.
Responsibilities
What Will You Do?
Main Job Duties:
• Develop and execute integrated content strategies that translate marketing objectives into compelling content experiences supporting product launches, marketing programs, and business initiatives.
• Create and maintain cohesive messaging frameworks, themes, and narratives that ensure consistency across product launches, programs, and customer touchpoints.
• Research target audiences through content audits, customer and market research, competitive analysis, performance metrics, and other available data to identify content opportunities and inform strategic recommendations.
• Write and oversee the development of high-quality, audience-focused content that educates, engages, and inspires action while maintaining brand voice and messaging consistency.
• Shepherd the New Product Introduction (NPI) process by planning, coordinating, and ensuring the timely development and delivery of content required to support successful product launches.
• Write and edit product lifecycle content: product messaging, web copy, sell sheets, application stories, email, social, video scripts, and sales enablement materials.
• Develop and optimize content strategies that improve SEO, AEO, and GEO, ensuring content is structured, discoverable, and authoritative to maximize visibility across traditional search engines, AI-powered answer platforms, and generative AI platforms.
• Identify new opportunities, formats, and approaches that strengthen how content is delivered and experienced, fostering innovation and continuous improvement across marketing initiatives.
• Measure, analyze, and report on content performance using established KPIs, translating insights into actionable recommendations that improve content effectiveness and business results.
• Partner with Marketing leadership to evolve content strategies, optimize audience engagement, and continuously improve how customers discover, understand, and interact with our products and solutions.
• Ensure content supports progression through the customer journey by increasing discovery, awareness, trust, engagement, and meaningful customer action among Specifiers, Contractors, Engineers, and other target audiences.
• Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Education:
• B.A. in Communications, English, Journalism, or related field, or evidence of related experience.
• Experience: 5-7 years of related experience, specifically copywriting or content development. Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of Marketing and (SEO) content and site optimization; SEO Certification preferred. Experience with AEO and GEO is a plus. • Portfolio of writing samples and published work.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to multi-task and reprioritize in a dynamic environment and to work effectively in a team to meet deadlines.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn technical products.
• Writing sample will be required in interview process.
