Job description

We are PMG
PMG, a global independent platform company engineered for impact, integrates business strategy, media, creative, and data within a single operating model powered by our proprietary operating system, Alli. With more than 1,000 employees, PMG partners with brands including Apple, Nike, Dropbox, Experian, Sephora, and Whole Foods. Our work has earned top industry honors, including Cannes Lions and Adweek's Media Plan of the Year, and PMG has won 40+ workplace culture awards, including being the only company to rank among Ad Age's Best Places to Work for 11 consecutive years.
Who You'll Be Working With
At PMG, our Influencer & Branded Content team is at the intersection of culture, storytelling, and strategy, helping brands connect with audiences in authentic, meaningful ways. We craft high-impact influencer and creator programs that go beyond traditional advertising, driving engagement, building brand affinity, and delivering measurable results across social, digital, and experiential platforms.
As an Influencer & Branded Content Senior Director, you'll serve as a senior leader responsible for shaping the vision, growth, and evolution of PMG's influencer and creator marketing discipline while partnering with senior client stakeholders, creators, talent agencies, media strategists, content teams, and platform partners. You'll play a critical role in strengthening PMG's position in the creator economy by establishing scalable frameworks, advancing measurement and innovation, developing strategic partnerships, and setting a high bar for authenticity, quality, and effectiveness. You'll develop the leaders and teams responsible for bringing that vision to life while identifying shifts in culture, consumer behavior, emerging platforms, and content formats and translating them into strategies that drive meaningful business impact for our clients.
What You Will Do
  • Set the vision and long-term strategic direction for PMG's Influencer & Branded Content discipline, defining priorities, capabilities, measurement standards, and opportunities for continued growth and innovation.
  • Serve as a senior strategic advisor to executive-level client stakeholders, helping brands navigate the evolving creator economy and connecting influencer and branded content strategies to broader marketing and business objectives.
  • Lead the growth and evolution of PMG's influencer and creator marketing capabilities, establishing scalable frameworks, best practices, and standards that elevate work across clients and teams.
  • Lead and develop the Influencer & Branded Content team, overseeing organizational structure, leadership development, resource planning, and team performance while fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, collaboration, and continuous growth.
  • Establish PMG as a leader in influencer marketing and branded content by bringing a strong point of view to client conversations, new business opportunities, industry discussions, thought leadership, and emerging creator trends.
  • Develop and champion innovative influencer and branded content strategies for existing clients and new business opportunities, partnering with media, strategy, creative, technology, and client leadership teams to connect creator ideas to measurable business outcomes.
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with creators, talent agencies, publishers, technology providers, and platform partners to expand PMG's access to talent, insights, emerging capabilities, and strategic partnership opportunities.
  • Oversee complex, high-impact influencer and branded content programs, ensuring work is strategically sound, operationally efficient, commercially responsible, aligned with brand standards, and optimized for measurable success.
  • Define and evolve measurement frameworks that demonstrate creator performance, campaign effectiveness, audience impact, and the broader business value of influencer and branded content investments.
  • Identify emerging platforms, technologies, creator behaviors, and cultural shifts, translating them into actionable opportunities that strengthen client strategies and PMG's broader capabilities.
  • Partner with senior leadership on business planning, capability development, resource strategy, and investment priorities to support the sustainable growth of the Influencer & Branded Content discipline.
  • Develop managers and future leaders through coaching, mentorship, actionable feedback, and meaningful opportunities to strengthen their strategic thinking, client leadership, commercial acumen, and people management capabilities.
  • The primary focus of this role is the Influencer & Branded Content channel, ensuring excellence in strategy, execution, and performance. However, responsibilities may extend across other media channels as needed to support broader campaign objectives and business priorities.
What You Will Bring
  • 10+ years of experience in Influencer & Branded Content, creator marketing, social media, or a related field, including 5+ years of leadership experience, with a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • You bring advanced expertise in content creation and influencer marketing strategy, shaping sophisticated creator-led programs that connect cultural insight, audience behavior, platform dynamics, and client business goals.
  • You have proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams and people leaders, creating clear expectations, building capabilities, and empowering others to take ownership and grow.
  • You have deep experience in contract review, partnership development, and proposal strategy, guiding complex negotiations with a focus on protecting client interests and creating long-term value for brands, creators, and partners.
  • You bring advanced detail orientation while operating effectively at a strategic level, setting high standards across campaign execution, reporting, content approvals, compliance, and partnership deliverables.
  • You have extensive experience leading complex influencer and branded content programs from strategic planning and investment decisions through execution, optimization, measurement, and post-campaign learning.
  • You are a highly skilled communicator with strong executive presence, able to translate complex ideas into clear strategic narratives, influence senior stakeholders, and deliver executive-ready recommendations and performance insights.
  • You have a deep understanding of advertising standards, client service, creator partnerships, and relationship management, helping brands and creators build trusted partnerships that meet business, legal, regulatory, and platform expectations.
  • You are proficient with influencer management platforms, social media platforms, measurement tools, and the broader creator ecosystem, using data and insights to evaluate creators, guide investment decisions, and improve performance.
  • You have a proven ability to build meaningful relationships across the creator ecosystem, including creators, talent agencies, publishers, technology providers, and platform partners, strengthening PMG's market presence and unlocking new opportunities.
  • You bring strong strategic thinking, business and financial acumen, and resource management capabilities, with experience shaping department priorities, evaluating investments, managing team structures, and building scalable approaches that support client and business growth.
  • You have a strong understanding of the evolving creator economy, emerging platforms, cultural trends, and changing consumer behaviors, with the ability to translate industry shifts into actionable strategies and new opportunities.
  • A commitment to curiosity and adaptability as a Continual Learner, staying at the forefront of media and creator innovation while prioritizing client success with a Customer-Focused mindset that seeks opportunities to deliver meaningful value.
