Job description

POSITION: Teamcenter System Analyst

LOCATION: Jupiter, FL

STATUS: Salary-exempt 


JOB SUMMARY 

The Teamcenter System Analyst serves as a senior technical and functional expert responsible for the administration, stability, and continuous improvement of the Siemens Teamcenter (TC) Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) environment. This role acts as the primary point of contact for Teamcenter system operations, vendor coordination, workflow management, and advanced user support. The analyst ensures system reliability, secure access, efficient workflows, and successful delivery of enhancements and integrations that support engineering and business objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Manage Teamcenter user roles, permissions, groups, and account statuses.
  • Create Teamcenter accounts for new hires and ensure timely access provisioning.
  • Deactivate Teamcenter accounts for terminated or transitioned employees in compliance with security policies.
  • Act as a sentinel for Teamcenter system health, proactively monitoring for outages, service disruptions, and performance issues.
  • Coordinate with internal IT teams and Siemens support to resolve system incidents and restore service.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with Siemens for Teamcenter support and issue resolution.
  • Coordinate and participate in regular vendor meetings.
  • Manage support cases, including case creation, tracking, escalation, and weekly status reviews.
  • Monitor and manage Teamcenter workflows, with primary focus on Dispatcher-related processes.
  • Reassign workflows as needed, particularly during user account changes or organizational transitions.
  • Investigate, analyze, and resolve Teamcenter system and data-related issues.
  • Explore root causes and implement sustainable solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Provide Tier II/III support for Teamcenter users, resolving data-related and functional issues.
  • Deliver general “how-to” guidance, including document creation, interface usage, and best practices.
  • Create, collaborate on, upload, and manage document and template statuses within Teamcenter.
  • Act as owner for designated templates, including revision management and updates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on Teamcenter design and development initiatives.
  • Manage and fulfill AP-E requests related to Teamcenter functionality and enhancements.
  • Support and execute data migration activities as part of system upgrades or projects.
  • Test system updates and enhancements, provide go-live approvals, and support production releases.
  • Explore and evaluate new Teamcenter capabilities to improve system performance, usability, and business value.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education & Training

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with vendors and managing enterprise support cases.
  • Proven troubleshooting and analytical skills with complex system and data issues.

Skills/Experience

  • 5+ years of experience administering Siemens Teamcenter in an enterprise environment.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting Creo integration and engineering data management.
  • Background in PLM system upgrades, data migrations, and enhancement testing.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to support both technical and non-technical users.
  • Effective strong communication skills, written, oral, listening, technical writing.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration.
  • Must be self-motivated and possess a demonstrated ability to handle multiple issues in a responsive and decisive manner.
  • Must be a detail-oriented, high energy, self-starter with the ability to drive the successful completion of projects within specified time frames.
  • Proficiency with MS office Professional (Word, Excel, Access & PowerPoint)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills required.
  • Process and Team-oriented; able to work with a diverse workforce.
