Overview


Client First Technologies currently is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst, Senior in support of our government customer. The Computer Systems Analyst (Senior) leads analysis of complex data processing problems and systems integration challenges, working on high-visibility aspects of the government customer's IT environment.


This is a hybrid remote work opportunity; the onsite location is Patuxent River, MD.

Requirements:


  • Analyze science, engineering, business, and data processing problems to develop and implement solutions to complex application, system administration, and network issues
  • Perform systems management and integration functions across the enterprise IT environment; review system capabilities, workflow, and schedule limitations
  • Support IT service delivery aligned with the ITIL framework; ensure system, application, and data availability to end users
  • Research and assess proposed software and database products; provide technical recommendations and alternative technical solutions
  • Support SDLC activities including requirements analysis, system design, configuration management, and testing
  • Support enterprise collaboration environments (SharePoint, FlankSpeed, Power Automate, Power BI) including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to NGEN/Navy networks and customer workstations
  • Provide subject matter expertise on highly complex application issues to managers, developers, and other program personnel


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) or Master's Degree (MA/MS) in a technical, scientific, or engineering discipline or related field
  • More than ten (10) years of experience performing work related to the labor category functional description
  • Works on high-visibility or mission-critical aspects of the program; performs all functional duties independently; may oversee less senior staff
  • Education Substitution (non-degree options): Six (6) years of additional work experience related to the labor category functional description may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree; alternatively, an Associate's Degree plus four (4) years of additional work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree. An Associate's Degree requirement may be met with a High School Diploma or GED plus two (2) years of additional work experience.

  • Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time
  • Occasional travel and overtime may be required


Required Clearances and Screenings

  • This position is subject to a government background investigation and requires an active SECRET security clearance. Candidates with a current DoD Tier 3/NACLC or equivalent background investigation (e.g., Active Secret) are preferred
