Job description

The Opportunity: We are seeking a full time Sr Client Server Specialist to join our team in Florida. This role will provide end user support for in-house and third-party application software problems. Under general supervision, evaluate, implement and support Client/Server and computing systems. Troubleshoot advanced system issues and work on technical assignments under deadlines while continuing to provide quality user support. 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Configure and implement personal computers and mobile devices. 
  • Application server administration for enterprise systems, including upgrades, patches, and client configuration. 
  • Build application packages using required packaging tools, ensuring proper version control and testing. 
  • Installation and support of software applications. 
  • Assist with software testing and coordinate software distributions. 
  • Investigate and resolve support requests. 
  • Adhere to established security policies and procedures. 
  • Work on special projects, as required. 
  • User account management, including active directory, user, and file access. 
  • Write technical processes and procedural documentation. 
  • Interface with and support vendor relationships. 

What You’ll Need:

  • Willingness and ability to travel to the all branches in the Florida market.
  • Associate degree in related field, or equivalent education and/or work experience.
  • Two years’ experience with current Windows operating systems. 
  • Two years’ PC related experience, repairing and diagnosing software and hardware. 
  • Experience using software distribution applications preferred. 
  • Troubleshooting and analytical skills. 
  • Experience writing process and procedural documentation. 
  • Consistent positive, cooperative, self-motivated, courteous and professional attitude. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365.  
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.  
  • Able to initiate and embrace change.  
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication, and ability to work in a team environment. 
  • Occasional travel for training, conferences, and disaster recovery and/or offsite equipment support. 
  • On call support 7x24 30-minute response, as required. 
  • Extended hours and/or alternate schedules, as required. 
  • Extended duration of computer terminal usage.Â
