Job description

SENIOR NETWORK ARCHITECT
The company is seeking a Senior Network Architect to support NIWC (Naval Information Warfare Center). This position can be supported either in Charleston, SC or Ft. Meade, MD. Remote work may also be considered.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design and implement computer and information networks, such as local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and other data communications networks.
  • Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning to include analysis of capacity needs for network infrastructures.
  • Design network and computer security measures, research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software.
  • Design and maintain a global IP transport, routing, and switching architecture.
  • Apply experience analyzing, testing, monitoring, and operating network connectivity across varying systems or networks.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Prior related work experience in DoD environment

SECURITY CLEARANCE
  • Active DoD Secret clearance required

TRAVEL
  • Some travel may be required
