This role will focus on building and maintaining and developing dashboards and reports in Power BI and partnering directly with business stakeholders to turn data into actionable insight across the business.

Summary:

The Business Intelligence Analyst will play a key role in supporting the analytics function through data pipeline scoping, dashboard design and development, and business partnership. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a modern cloud data warehouse, building and maintaining Power BI reports, and working and influencing stakeholders to optimal solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform data modeling within Snowflake and Power BI to support scalable, reusable, and performant reporting layers.
  • Monitor data quality and pipeline health; troubleshoot and resolve data integrity issues.
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations in Power BI that surface KPIs and business-critical metrics.
  • Write efficient SQL queries against Snowflake to support ad hoc analysis and recurring reporting needs.
  • Apply strong dashboard design principles to make complex data intuitive and actionable for non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to understand their objectives, pain points, and the questions they need to answer
  • Combine technical output with subject-matter context to deliver insights and recommendations, not just numbers.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the business's model, competitive landscape, and key drivers so analysis is grounded in real business context.
  • Ensure data used in reporting and pipelines is accurate, secure, and compliant with applicable regulations and internal governance guidelines.
  • Document data sources, transformation logic, and report definitions for maintainability and knowledge-sharing.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data model accuracy, and overall analytics team efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Business, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in data engineering, business intelligence, or business/data analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake (or a comparable cloud data warehouse), including schema design, performance tuning, and query optimization.
  • Strong Power BI development skills, including data modeling (DAX), dashboard/report design, and data source connectivity.
  • Proficiency in SQL; familiarity with ETL/ELT tools and data pipeline concepts.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect data findings to business outcomes and communicate with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including presenting to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to prioritize competing requests and manage expectations across business units.
  • Ability to work autonomously, support ad hoc requests, and adapt shifting priorities
