Job description

PYA is seeking an experienced, relationship-driven Healthcare Business Development Senior Director to accelerate the continued growth of our nationally recognized Healthcare Consulting Group. This individual will lead strategic business development initiatives by cultivating executive relationships with healthcare organizations, referral sources, strategic partners, and industry influencers while identifying and advancing new consulting opportunities across PYA's national healthcare platform.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of successful healthcare business development experience, possesses an established network within the healthcare industry, and has a proven track record of developing executive relationships that translate into measurable revenue growth. This individual will serve as a strategic advisor to consulting principals, collaborate closely with marketing leadership, and help shape the firm's healthcare growth strategy while expanding PYA's national presence.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead strategic business development initiatives that drive growth across PYA's Healthcare Consulting Group
  • Develop, cultivate, and maintain executive-level relationships with hospitals, health systems, physician groups, academic medical centers, healthcare technology companies, and other healthcare organizations
  • Drive identification, qualification, and pursuit of new consulting opportunities across target healthcare markets
  • Expand existing client relationships by identifying cross-selling opportunities across PYA's consulting, accounting, compliance, and business advisory service lines
  • Develop and strengthen strategic relationships with attorneys, private equity firms, investment bankers, venture capital firms, healthcare technology companies, and other referral sources
  • Partner with Healthcare Consulting principals and practice leaders to develop and execute strategic growth initiatives
  • Collaborate with marketing leadership to evaluate pipeline activity, competitive intelligence, and market trends to refine growth strategies
  • Lead executive presentations, client meetings, proposal strategy, conference participation, sponsorships, and networking initiatives
  • Maintain an accurate multimillion-dollar opportunity pipeline and forecasting process within Salesforce CRM
  • Partner with marketing to elevate PYA's thought leadership through webinars, speaking engagements, digital campaigns, and industry events
  • Represent PYA nationally at healthcare conferences and executive forums
  • Serve as a trusted ambassador for PYA, strengthening the firm's reputation as a premier healthcare consulting advisor


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Communications, or related field preferred
  • 10+ years of successful business development and strategic relationship management experience within the healthcare industry, with a demonstrated track record of generating significant revenue growth and developing executive-level relationships
  • Demonstrated success selling complex consulting, advisory, or professional services to C-suite executives within healthcare organizations
  • Experience with a healthcare consulting firm, professional services organization, healthcare technology company, or provider organization strongly preferred
  • Established national or regional network of healthcare executives, referral partners, and strategic alliances is highly desirable
  • Proven ability to develop referral channels and strategic partnerships that generate measurable business results
  • Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement, regulatory trends, provider operations, and emerging industry challenges
  • Outstanding executive presence, communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience managing a multimillion-dollar business development pipeline using Salesforce or a similar CRM platform
  • Highly collaborative, self-motivated leader with exceptional strategic thinking and organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel nationally for client meetings, conferences, and business development activities
